Steveston Community Centre offers a number of leadership opportunities for our youth including a Youth Council and other volunteer based options.

Youth Facility Pass 1 – Free
- This pass must be renewed annually and includes access to:
- Youth Leadership Council.
- Friday Night Hangout – Drop-In.
Youth Facility Pass 2 -$7 annually
- This pass must be renewed annually and includes access to:
- All benefits from Youth Facility Pass 1.
- Sport Specific Drop-In – including equipment rentals during Open Gym/Sports times.
Steveston Community Society Scholarship
The Steveston Community Society provides annual scholarships to support graduating high school students who intend to pursue a post-secondary education in the field of recreation or similar program, and who best exemplifies the “Spirit of Steveston” by having a well-rounded record of service to the community.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 30 volunteer hours for the Steveston Community Society from Grade 10-12.
- Demonstrates strong leadership at school and in the community.
- Demonstrates a strong history of volunteerism at school and in the community.
- Graduating from a secondary school in June 2026 and proof of registration from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Are planning a career in recreation or similar field to benefit the community.
- Completion of an application form.
