I will put away my phone and devices for the entirety of my volunteer shift, in order to
focus on my tasks and to provide respectful service to community members.
- If you need to use your phone for an emergency, inform your supervisor first and
step away from your task so that you are not distracting others. - Your supervisor may provide you with their phone number for urgent situations,
which may be related to the event itself or an emergency situation. Only use the
number if the problem must be resolved immediately.
I will not take photos of participants or other volunteers.
- Steveston has strict privacy guidelines that must be adhered to. Do not take
photographs of anyone without permission.
